Intermediate Classes
Manners 2
Does your dog understand the basics, but you want to gain greater control? If you would like to take your skills to the next level, this is a great class to take. Emphasis will be on learning and mastering all the skills you would need to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. This is a 10 part test and open to all dogs whether they are registered, purebred or whatever. This certificate is a must if you own or rent your home. Most insurance companies offer discounts for owners of dogs with their CGC and landlords are more likely to rent to you if your dog has proof they are a Canine Good Citizen. This is a 4 week class.
CD Prep
This class will work on all the steps necessary to pass the AKC Companion Dog Title. Must have at least completed the Manners 1 Class. Best if have taken the Competition Foundations Course, too. This is a 4 week class.
Rally Novice
Flash cards for dogs? You heard that right. Rally is a fun, fast paced sport that is sweeping the nation.
There are 36 different obedience behaviors to learn at the Novice level. Advanced adds another 18 and Excellent 13. If your dog can heel on a LOOSE leash, Sit, Down and Stay. The rest of the ‘tricks’ will be taught in class. If you would like to go beyond basic obedience, this is the class for you! If you are interested in the Advanced/Excellent Classes you MUST have taken Rally Novice first. This is a 5 week course and is a great deal of fun.

Dance with Your Dog
Learn to dance with your dog! We will teach you a fun routine you can put to a clever song or routine. Dancing with your dog incorporates all of the basic skills like heeling, sit, stand, down, stay, focus and so much more. Best if have taken a Tricks Class. This is a fun way to continue working on those important foundation skills, but in a way you both will enjoy. Class is 4 weeks long.
Learn everything you need to know to become a Therapy Dog team. We will introduce your dog to medical equipment. We will go over the different organizations to register through and discuss the pro's and con's of each one. You and your dog will learn all of the rules and regulations as well as the different positions you would will need to be able to perform the tasks needed of a Therapy Team.
Beginning Conformation
We will be breaking down all the parts of conformation into easy to understand pieces! If you are interested in learning more about how to show your dog, you won't want to miss this class. Learn the correct way to hand stack and free stack. How to move your dog and the different patterns you may be asked to do. You will learn how to present your dog so they always look their best. This is a 4 week class.
Nose Work 2
ORT Prep - In this class your dog will need to be started on odor. We will be working on getting prepared for the Odor Recognition Test (ORT).
Beyond Manners
Quite possibly one of our most popular classes. Your dog needs to have a solid foundation of sit, down, stay and heeling. We will be working on making obedience fun for both of you through games, relay courses and the like. Focus will be on making your skills more solid, while building confidence in your dog and your handling skills. Class is 4 weeks long.
